start with the brief

Keep the conversation useful

I wrote Moody’s lifestyle and skincare blogs with beauty education and everyday self-care in view. The voice was soft and modern, but each piece still needed to help the reader understand something. The conversation had to be useful.

The person on the other side

Readers interested in skincare, beauty education, and simple self-care ideas they can relate to everyday life.

where the words had to work

What the words had to get right

A friendly tone is a starting point, not the whole article. The content needed to make skincare education approachable and leave the reader understanding something more clearly.

the thinking behind the sentences

The decisions inside the draft

Ordinary self-care concerns gave the writing a familiar entry point. I used them to bring the educational subject closer to the reader’s day.

I kept the advice easy to follow and the tone conversational. The warmth supported the explanation rather than taking its place.

An approachable article should still repay the time someone spends reading it.

Your brief will need its own approach.

Tell me about the brand, the reader, and the part that needs clearer words.
