Current brand imagery from Ekki Bekki. Brand imagery gives context; my role was the writing.

start with the brief

Help the reader imagine the room

I wrote Ekki Bekki’s website content and product descriptions around artistic wallpapers and personal spaces. The copy connected a design on the page with the mood of a room, helping the reader imagine where it might belong.

The person on the other side

People choosing wallpapers and home decor to express their taste and shape the feeling of a personal space.

where the words had to work

What the words had to get right

A design is shown on the page; the reader is imagining it somewhere else. The copy needed to help make that connection while staying close to the product.

the thinking behind the sentences

The decisions inside the draft

Personal spaces gave the website story its centre. I wrote around the role a wallpaper can play in the feeling of a room.

The descriptions stayed tied to the designs and the moods they suggested. That gave imagination a useful starting point.
